When most program directors consider student success, their thoughts immediately focus on lesson plans and evaluations. While these certainly play a role in student success, it is time for broader thinking. How do we (EMS) adequately set up students to be successful? What are the most important elements to ensure an adequate supply of well prepared candidates entering our systems? This discussion will take a high-level view and describe an evidence-supported case for important program director involvement. How do we set up success?
